THE SCHOLL COMPANY

Scholl was founded back in 1899, in Chicago where William Mathias Scholl moved to work in a small shoe shop - specialising in comfortable shoes. He was so fascinated by the number of people he met who had painful foot problems that he went to medical school to learn about the human body. And, most importantly, the anatomy and physiology of the feet.

Since its founding, the company has worked continuously to develop improved models of comfortable shoes, soles and socks. And the company's vision has always been: "To continue investing, studying and experimenting to improve people's comfort, health and well-being by taking care of their feet."

The products have evolved over the years and in 2016 came the special and revolutionary Scholl Biomechanics technology that can relieve overpronation. It can reduce heel, ankle, knee and lower back pain. It can minimise stress on the feet & improve foot posture.

WHAT IS SCHOLL BIOMECHANICS?

Scholl shoes have removable insoles with Scholl Biomechanic® technology. The Biomechanics® sole is a CE marked medical product designed to reduce heel, ankle, knee and lower back pain. The soles also minimise stress on the feet, improve foot posture and alignment thanks to the exclusive and clinically designed Tri-planar motion control technology.

However, the Biomechanics sole is not just for those who experience discomfort or have a challenging job. They are a healthy option for anyone who wants to improve the balance of their body - from the feet up.

When you buy a new pair of Scholl shoes, you may need to gradually acclimatise your body to the new balanced step, which is why we recommend that you avoid wearing your new Scholl shoes for more than 12 hours at a time for the first time. After a while, however, they are excellent to wear for longer work sessions for those who walk or stand a lot at work.

SCHOLL WALKING, LEISURE AND WALKING SHOES

These are shoes designed for comfort and ergonomics and developed to give your feet and step maximum stability and high shock absorption. All Scholl shoes have removable insoles with Biomechanic® technology that can help reduce pain in the heel, ankle, knee and parts of the lower back. Scholl shoes also have reinforced soles to prevent slipping accidents. This is particularly evident in the Galaxy Sporty model. In addition, the shoes are designed with high torsional stability, which radically reduces the risk of twisting or spraining when stepping sideways.

SCHOLL UNISEX SHOES

Sprinter Wave, New Sprinter, Sprinter Easy. These are suitable for both leisure and walking shoes. The difference between New Sprinter & Sprinter Easy is that Easy has an elasticated quick lace.

SCHOLL UNISEX WATERPROOF

Havang & Selfoss have a waterproof membrane that makes them exceptionally resistant to moisture. They are suitable as both leisure and walking shoes.

SCHOLL JUMP

Their sporty slip-in shoe that fits both men and women. The upper is made of highly breathable mesh. This comfortable shoe is also elasticated and reinforced with synthetic leather. These Scholl shoes have a removable biomechanics sole with high shock absorption despite its light weight and moulded rubber details to prevent slipping.

SCHOLL RIO

The Scholl Rio sandal is a women's sandal with three straps, a flexible cork sole and a moulded insole to provide the best support for the foot and thus posture. The technology behind it is BIOPRINT ADAPTA. The ergonomic design follows the shape of the foot and provides extra arch support to achieve the best weight distribution and posture. The built-in wedge also helps with long days of standing and relieves stress on the knees, hips and shoulders. The sandal has a leather upper and adjustable buckles made from recycled metal. A comfortable fabric lining covers the inside of the upper. The footbed is made of soft suede.
